Battle of the Bands

Official Entry Information

An official entry form, entry fee and video (VHS/CD/DVD) of band’s recorded song must be submitted to be part of the Band competition. Please include 3 copies of song lyrics for judges. Our goal is for teens to develop their vocal, instrumental and songwriting skills. 

General Rules for the Category

1) All band members are restricted to teens only who are registered with the convention. Music must be performed and recorded live for the competition.

2) Entries must be labeled with band name and/or name of church.

3) All music must be performed by the band members. No pre-recorded music allowed.

4) Bands do not have to play original music. Original pieces, however, will be given greater consideration.
