Public Speaking (Women)

Official Entry Information

An official entry form, fee, manuscript or outline (3 copies) and video (VHS/CD/DVD) of a speech must be submitted to be part of the public speaking competitions. Our goal is to encourage young ladies to develop and utilize their speaking and teaching abilities for God.

General Rules for the Category

1) Be concise. The speech is to be from 8-10 minutes.  Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.

2) You must present your message to a live audience.  We suggest your congregation or youth group.

3) Once the presentation begins, there will be no restarting.  If mistakes are made, simply continue on with your message. Edited tapes will be disqualified.

4) Messages should be based upon our 2012 convention theme.  Entrants are free to speak from notes.
