Thanks largely to TCTC, 29 people from Morrison Hill Christian Church went to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota this summer.  Not only was it an amazing trip in and of itself (check out the documentary about it, available at www.graffxworkshop.com), but our eyes were opened to the ongoing needs of the people there. 

           We plan to return next summer, and right now our church is planning a short trip in December, as well.  We plan to deliver Christmas gifts, present several programs, and hand out blankets and warm clothes to the many kids there who sleep outside in abandoned cars (yeah, you read that right). 

           We are very thankful that TCTC introduced us to this ongoing ministry and for the scholarships we received that made our first trip possible.  Based on our experience this year, we highly recommend pursuing the missions opportunities TCTC will offer in 2008.
