Hello Friends of TCTC,

We are planning for another great year in Gatlinburg with the Tennessee Christian Teen Convention, January 6-8, 2012.    TCTC 2012 will challenge students to consider what it means to be one who is after God’s Own Heart.  Just as was said about David in I Samuel 13 & Acts 13, what greater can be said of our students than “he/she is one after God’s own heart”!  You can expect a lot of your favorite TCTC elements – solid biblical messages brought to us from Mike Baker as we examine the life of David, great musical talent on stage such as Jamie Grace & Gungor, and bringing back a TCTC favorite from 2009 to lead us in worship: Matt McCoy.

SCHEDULE

As you are probably aware, the continued growth of TCTC dictated the need for dual sessions, Alpha & Omega as we like to call them.  Thanks to your evaluations and leader feedback at last year’s sponsor workshop, we are presenting a slightly new schedule.  You need to take notice of some variations to the schedule before you commit to the Alpha or Omega Track.  Check out this new revised schedule on the back.

INFO

The enclosed poster gives you the basics.  Our web site will have all the details you need for registration, competitions, a new section: “Leader Helps” (with sign up forms, sample publicity shared from other groups, and more!)  If you have questions after checking out www.tctcinfo.com feel free to drop a line to one of the contact e-mails on the web site.

TEENS IN PURSUIT

In connection with this year’s theme, we are looking for students who are actively Pursuing God’s Heart.  Maybe you have students who have founded a ministry, someone who makes weekly visits to a nursing home, takes lead in a soup kitchen ministry, helps clothe the homeless, started a Bible study on their school campus or elsewhere.  Our idea is to share some stories that will encourage others on The Pursuit. This is not a contest and it’s possible that we are not able to even share all of these stories, but you might have a story in your group that would be great to share.  So give us a shout with a couple paragraphs, no more than a one page description of their story and how we can best get in touch with you to follow up.  Please send your stories no later than October 1
st to Thomas Paukovitz at tpaukovitz@whcc.info
with the subject “Teen in Pursuit”.
